Overview / Story: I was sitting in the theater watching the previews before the movie started when suddenly some awesome 'mock' movie trailers starring each of the stars of the film started to roll. All of them were equally hilarious and made everyone in the theater totally crack up. Then the actual movie started and the hilarity continued. The story is that this rag-tag team of actors from different genres are all thrown into the jungle to shoot a war-drama. I know that this sounds boring, but trust me, Tropic Thunder did not have one boring minute! I laughed the entire time! I won't go into too much more detail about the plot of the film because I don't want to spoil it for you. All you need to know is that you will not be disappointed with the storyline.

Special Effects / Stunts: The special effects were AWESOMELY over the top! This movie truly makes fun of the action/war/drama genre. The stunts were the same way. Ben Stiller especially wasn't afraid to make fun of the typical action movie stunts. (He did un-necessary summersaults in the middle of gun battles to emphasize the awesomely cheesey way that most action films incorporate stupid stunts.)

Sound / Music: There wasn't much music throughout the film that is memorable. There were a few scenes with some funny rap songs that Tom Cruise danced to...(Yeah, that's right, I said Tom Cruise! Haha! You gotta go see it now right?)
Acting / Casting: The casting for Tropic Thunder was absolutely genious. Ben Stiller gave a performance as awesome as he did in Zoolander. Robert Downey Jr. probably gave his most hilarious performance to date and Jack Black was Jack Black. They all made the movie the funniest thing I've seen in a long time. There were also plenty of cameos in the film that you would have never been expecting. Everyone in the movie was absolutely perfectly cast.

Summary: This is most likely the funniest movie that you will see this Summer. You will be laughing the whole time... unless you're an uptight douchebag. So, douches, just stay home. To all of the awesome people out there... GO SEE THIS MOVIE!! YOU WON"T REGRET IT!
